Allstate wanted to use Fire Tablet to reach its customers with a series of video ads featuring its celebrity talent roster, which included Saturday Night Live's Jeslie Jones, Adam Devine from Workaholics, and Project Runway's Tim Gunn. Besides a style guide and a collection of photos, the brand had no specific requirements for this campaign. Headline copy, art direction, and production were done in-house.
This campaign launch coincided with the introduction of Amazon's new mobile phone lock screen ad placement. The advertisement led to a customized page on Amazon's mobile website featuring an embedded video.
